

BIO: DAVID MILSTEAD
David Milstead, a native of Mobile, has over 38 years of commercial real estate experience. David has the ability to draw on his real estate experience from Atlanta and his local knowledge of the real estate market order to assist with the buying and selling of property in Mobile and Baldwin County.
David is the Managing Senior Director of the Commercial Division for Bellator. David is consistently one of the top producers every year for Bellator Commercial. Prior to joining Bellator, David started Milstead & Associates Real Estate in April of 2009. Prior to forming Milstead & Associates, David was the top producer for Cunningham, Foley & Barnes from 2005 - 2008.
David worked with Insignia/ESG and Grubb & Ellis in Atlanta for 15 years primarily in Tenant Representation and Corporate Services. David worked with major corporations including Arthur Andersen, Twentieth Century Fox, MGM United Artists, Saint Joseph’s Health System, and National Semiconductor Corporation, United Healthcare Corporation, and Air Touch Cellular (Verizon).
David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University. David received his high school diploma from UMS-Wright in Mobile.

Bellator’s recent commercial transactions include: the sale of 38,442-square-feet for San Rock LLC at 15884 Highway 59 in Summerdale for $1.6M; the sale of the 15,000-square-foot interior/exterior building located on 18249 Highway 98 in Foley for $825,000; the sale of the gulf front Romar Beach Baptist Church for $6.5M to a hotel developer; the sale of 2.3 acres gulf front in Orange Beach for $6M to Turquoise Properties; the $1.1M sale of Wintzell’s Oyster House in Fairhope; the sale of Canal Place Apartments in Orange Beach for $1.25M; the sale of South Shore Apartments in Gulf Shores for $1.025M; the sale of the new location for Popeyes in Spanish Fort.
Bellator Commercial has also helped facilitate recent office leases to Armada Parent Inc, Apex Roofing, Dr. Chris Campus, and LaBella Associates as well as recent retail leases to Pier House Restaurant, Wall to Wall Interiors, Lendmark Financial and others.
BELLATOR COMMERCIAL
Bellator’s Commercial Division has also experienced significant growth. The division is managed by David Milstead, Managing Senior Director, and includes eight directors that specialize in office, industrial, hospitality, multi-family, retail and land. There are two directors that specialize in hospitality and multi-family, and the directors work from all nine Bellator locations. The commercial division works with investors and institutions in the purchase and disposition of real estate.
Bellator’s retail group specializes in site selection, and recent transactions include both new Popeye’s locations in Daphne and Foley, Anytime Fitness’s location in Daphne, and Another Broken Egg’s lease in Orange Beach.
